The magnetic positioning logging meter is an instrument used in positioning measurement in casing downhole operation. The probe used is composed of one coil and four magnetic steels, which are fixed at upper and lower ends of the coil in two groups, making the coil in a constant magnetic field. When the instrument passes section hoop, the magnetic wires of force rearrange, in this case, the coil is in a varying magnetic field, from which an AC signal is induced, while electrical signal is converted into frequency via magnification. The frequency is counted by single chip on the instrument, sent to remote short section during addressing, and then sent to the ground via remote short section code, so as to complete measurement on casing section scoop. Applicable for calibration in casing well downhole positioning.
