China could approve Qualcomm's NXP acquisition as Trump and Xi halt tariff war.
United States President Donald Trump has reached an agreement with Chinese President Xi Jinping to halt any additional tariffs from being imposed as a result of their ongoing trade war. China is further "open to approving the previously unapproved" deal for Qualcomm to acquire NXP Semiconductors "should it again be presented", after Chinese regulators prevented the transaction earlier this year.
 
China tech giants to fight for $53B SEA e-commerce market. Southeast Asia's e-commerce market is estimated to be worth US$53 billion by 2023 and is emerging as a hot battleground amongst China's tech giants, which have been investing aggressively to establish their footprint in the region.
 

Huawei CFO reportedly arrested in Canada for breaking US-Iran trade sanctions. Huawei CFO and deputy chair Wanzhou Meng has reportedly been arrested in Canada on the US government's request for allegedly violating United States trade sanctions with Iran.
 
According to a report by The Globe and Mail, Meng, who is also the daughter of Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei, is now facing extradition to the US.

Walmart lets shoppers place, and pay for, online orders in its stores. Shoppers in Walmart stores can now place online Walmart.com orders with the help of store associates. If a consumer cannot locate an item in a store—for example, if an item is out of stock, unavailable or not the right size or color—a store associate can order the item for her via a handheld touchscreen device. The customer can choose to have her item shipped to her home or to the nearest Walmart location.
